This is where I am at

This is not for bYu, This shows I am at a cross roads. I have options that I have not chosen yet. My path has taken me this far, now I get to choose.
Who to love, who to see, what to buy and what to be, the amazing part is,... that it is all up to me.
For the last two years I have had one purpose; go and bring people to Christ. What a Purpose!! Could you ask for a greater one? No of course not.
What do I do now?(ideas Welcome)
Here are some of my thoughts; Maintain the path or stay with Christ, I have brought people to the path, now can I stay on, do I have the faith to continue in the lord or will I go to other paths. (1 Nephi 8)
What is going to happen? The funniest part about all of this is, I don't know what is going to happen. I can guess all day, I will not know until I start on the path or apply faith (2 Corinthians 5:7).
Yes, Faith, Faith centered on the lord saves. I speak of faith as the principle of power. I don't know what will happen until I do it, Yes I have a firm hope from all of my experiences, yes I remember the past,  I know the sun will rise because it did my whole life , now I most work for my faith, true faith is rarely still. If we look at the saviors life he was not idle, always moving, teaching, praying to the father, showing us the way. I want my path to be like that.

A Peom

He speaks, he speaks, he spends, he sends, his son to fall, beneath it all. To show his love, from above. High to low, from heaven to earth. To lift us up on that grave day. The sins no more, the recompense paid. To have eternal life and have it made...........
                                                                If,
We believe and be like the son.

Sick day miracle.

We had a huge amount of stuff to do, HUGE, then......, "I don't feel good, I'm sick ". All of the stuff you have to do is out the window, The "stuff" in life is not as important as the person. ( D&C 18:10-18 ) How did it turn into the miracle? We decided go to our appointments(not all), get some medication and contact a referral. The miracle, It all worked out, Each major event of the day, worked out! We drove up at the exact time as the person we were trying to contact came home, exact time, by chance, no, by God, yes. If there was no sickness, There would have been not exact timing(which is sweet). We would not have given her what she asked for at the time she needed it. That's not all folks, we did a little extra and were blessed to teach a wonderfully knowledgeable woman named Stephine. She is well read and went to the "The Hill Cummora Pagent", (pagent is a out door play centered on Jesus Christ, based on events from the Book of Mormon.) She is great, I am glad I get to see her again, it was fun talking with her. She wanted us there, she wanted to learn... that is refreshing! What more can I say... God is Good.

A lession on unity

This quote started my lession on unity. Pres. Christenson said" It is better to be united on a infeior plan than to be divided on a superior plans."   There is a scripture in Isaiah 55:8-9 that talks about, your thoughts are not my thoughts, this is God telling the people he is different and has differnt plans. Wow, this was what I needed.  I am not the same as other missionary's and they are not the same as me. We have different ideas, WHICH IS GREAT, that is how it is ment to be. Is this not the miracle of unity? That all can work togeather for the good of man kind. Because of this we had deeper dissuctions on the Gospel of the Lord, we did better work and much more that I will not write.

The best thing I can say is, God does care, he has wanted to teach me unity for a long time, at least 2 years, most likely, my whole life.

Can you image the lord Jesus, coming down from the sky?

I can! How sweet would that be! I saw a big out door play this last week centered on the lord Jesus Christ, The high light of the whole play( in my opinion) is where Jesus is coming from the sky. If you are familiar with the Record know as the Book of Mormon, The Pinnacle of that book is Jesus of Nazareth, coming from the sky, then himself teaching his Message about what he did in Jerusalem to  the American Nation of that time. How he did  he do that? Good Question, I don't know. I know this God is good.

IF you want to read more about Jesus going up then down in the sky, you can read the following.

3 Nephi 11(Book of Mormon)

Acts 1(Kings James Bible)

Exodus 33(Kings James Bible)

Ether 3(Book of Mormon)

P.S. This is only a little of Jesus coming down to help out his people.

A Story ; Saveing in more than one way.

Let me tell you the story first, I was in Buffalo in our apartment during lunch, I went to the bathroom and come back, my companion is gone, there is screaming coming from the other room. I ran quickly to the laundry room where our neighbor slipped in scalding hot water and hit his head. He was yelling, "God help me", while flailing his arms. We quickly turned him over helped him up,  we tried to adjust his clothes, because of this, he starts to run to the door very embarrassed and hits his head again, but makes it into his apartment . We have talked with him since he is OK and has been to church a few times.
When I thought of missionaries saving people, I did not think literally. God works in mysterious ways.
I have felt the reality of GODs personal love for all this Creations, most of all, his Children.

New Stuff

I feel like it is Christmas. I am getting all of this new stuff and ideas, its crazy. We have a New Mission President and his amazing wife. They are the Christensen's, they brought with them a whole new world and view of missionary work. The best part is, I am OK with it. I see why he and she is here and what a great job my first mission President did(Pres Hemingway). It is great.

Simple Miracles

Elder Harris and I were having a, O.K. day. Our appointments did not work out and many more events did not see fruit that day, in tell the simple miracle. We had been asked to go see a Member who recently joined the Church, like the rest of our day, they were not home. We took our time, to go to our car, thinking how Bizarre our day had been....... The Miracle, we waited, we did not jump in our truck and go, we waited. If you know me, I am not the best person at waiting, I want to go, go, go and go a little more. Push the limits, What matters is we waited, and they came home! We talked with them, and we came by that night to catch up and teach. Yea, I would say God taught me to wait that day. Amen.

The day, I said, I'd go. A peom

Years have gone by, high and low, Thinking of the day I'd go. Wondering, hoping, thinking, I should, not sure if I could, but knowing I should. Then Doubt and Pout I blew myself out. Saying, "no way, no  how, I could never go now. I got it together, I knew much better, that I would be ready to go. The day surely came I made my aim. I said,.... I'd go!

This is a poem about me deciding to go and serve the Lord on a 2 year mission apart of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

That one guy in your day, the rock of your way!

We were doing our missionary thing, talking to people, being nice, having a good time, then the rude guy. He is the one person in your day that can make it our break it, the turning point, the tip of the ice burg(one more) the Climax of all the fun and good time you were having or he is no big deal. How did it go........ Great we ignored him and went on our way. : )   I love how Peter( his name means rock) speaks of a stone of stumbling and a rock of offence. The Question comes in most peoples day;  How did we treat the rock of our day, did we kick it out of our road, did we step over it with out a problem, we did,  it was great, and a little fun.( I later skipped into the water)

1 peter 2:8  Check out Peter, he has much to say.
